Hold Claude to the plan it gave you.
Claude declares a plan before it acts. On Enforce, anything outside it is refused. Every session is recorded.

Start with three lines.
export ANTHROPIC_BASE_URL=https://gateway.prod.gatebolt.com export ANTHROPIC_CUSTOM_HEADERS="X-GateBolt-Key: <your key>" claude
Make a key in your workspace, then start Claude Code with these lines.
Claude carries on as usual. Each session appears in your workspace, under that key’s name.
Record or Enforce
| What happens | Record | Enforce |
|---|---|---|
| Every session is recorded | Yes | Yes |
| Claude’s plan is kept | Yes | Yes |
| An action outside the plan | File changes marked | Refused |
| An action with no plan | File changes marked | Refused |
| Claude is told why | No | Yes |
| Set per key; a change takes up to 5 minutes | Yes | Yes |
Enforce is not a sandbox. A command in the plan can still change files that are not in it, and reading a file is checked by tool, not by path.
What is GateBolt Gateway?
Gateway sits between Claude Code and Anthropic. Claude declares a plan before it acts. On Enforce, to go further it has to declare again.
You read the trail in your workspace: what Claude said, what it did, and what was refused.
Why use GateBolt Gateway?
A trail you can read
What Claude said, what it did, and what was refused.
Stopped before it happens
On Enforce, an action outside the plan never runs.
One key per person
So you can tell whose session it was.
No prompt text stored
Tools, file paths, timing, cost and the plan. Not your prompts or Claude’s replies.
